We all get into ruts, negative emotional moods, mental thought “loops” that repeat things that we wouldn’t want anyone else to hear. When we show up in the world meeting people and challenges in these states of being its impossible for the things we touch to not be affected by this negative state.
How to you break this pattern? How to you clean the slate so you can be present for what is happening right now? How do YOU shift from being closed down and insecure to stepping into your true nature, your powerful self?
There are infinite ways to break this state. For me I throw my running shoes on and go for a run in Central Park around the Reservoir even if Im in total resistance, which I was today because I was stiff and felt like a truck hit me when I woke up! 1 hour later the ideas are flowing, I feel alive and awake, and I was motivated to sit and write this blog, which I seldom feel motivated to do!
Return to nature for a walk, run or just to take your shoes off and reconnect to yourself.
